So, I totally wanted a Happy Planner but I'm cheap so...
While at Hobby Lobby I found this MAMBI sticker storage book:
It is designed to hold a mess of stickers and has dividers and divider stickies that you can use to put sticker pages in your sticker book but costs at least $10.00 less than a regular MAMBI Happy Planner.
SCORE!
It's really pretty easy to make this into a planner, too! The inserts & pages have to be 9x6" instead of the typical 9.25x7" and I've found that I did need to swap out the large discs for medium, but now it's perfect (and only cost me around $18 for the whole thing- and it came with stickers!)
I TOTALLY recommend DIY-ing your planner- you'll be able to have exactly what you want and exactly what you'll actually use!
Great idea! It's always so much more satisfying to build your own planner and have it exactly the way you want rather than trying to fit into a pre-set format.
I'm curious about the discs though - I haven't made the leap into a Happy Planner-type setup because I was worried the discs wouldn't stand up to the wear and tear my planner endures in my bag each day. How do you find them?
