Hello friends as we all know Ahmedabad is worlds first heritage city .These heritage city of Indo-Islamic monument have been build since 15 to 17 centuries . Ahmedabad is first city in India to be inscribe in worlds heritage city in 2017 . The city of Ahmedabad was formerly known by the sultan of Ahmedabad " sultan Ahmed Shah " . The Britishers spelled it as Ahmedabad and later it was internationally know as Ahmedabad and later it was know as Amdavad and all citizens of Ahmedabad we known them as Amdavadis across the world .
There are hundreds of mosques temples and other pilgrim in Ahmedabad . There is sabarmati ashram in Ahmedabad which was offered to the nation by our great freedom fighter leader Gandhi ji . Sidi Saiyyed Jaali which is synonymous with identity of Ahmedabad. These mosque built in 1572 by Sidi Saeed, an Ethiopian during the reign of Sultan Shams-ud-Din Muzaffar Shah the last sultan of the Gujarat . There are other monument such as Sarkhej Roza it has been located 8 km away from city of Ahmedabad. The most important road of this city is SG highway it's called Sarkhej Gandhinagar highway it starts from Sarkhej and end at Gandhinagar. Sarkhej roza was built by Ahmed khattu ganj baksh he was known as the spiritual guide of sultan Ahmed Shah . His is one of the biggest mausoleum of India competing with the Taj Mahal. Ahmedabad city is well known mixture of Hindu Islamic all lives together in city .
Sardar Patel ring road is also famous in Ahmedabad it is 76 km long and its encircling the city of Ahmedabad . So this was the little information I know about the world's heritage city ahmedabad it has much more temples mosques as well and off course the beautiful city too .
