Well thought out and presented. I do agree that we have been hammered (put in a casket with snakes, etc) to such an extent that things no longer impact us in the same way anymore. You have to develop thicker skin - or go crazy ...
The video with the little girl is one I watched last week, and which got me researching #pizzagate. I agree that the body language - never mind the arcane knowledge - are indicative of someone who's relating something they have experienced. It seemed that a bit of me died with every revelation she made.
My own thoughts, however, on "giving in" are not quite as bleak as yours seem to be. A fellow named Jonathan Cahn says: "When the dark gets darker, the light must get brighter!" ... and he's right. Some of us, when exposed to this stuff, become all the more adamant in doing whatever we can to put an end to the darkness. The greater the evil around us - the harder we have to fight it.
Thanks for the article. Don't give in ...
That's a really good quote! I needed to hear that today. Thanks for sharing. :)
I do still have hope. That things will get better anyways.. What's already been done, is.. Hard to live with. Kinda like you mentioned dying inside when you learned about some of this stuff.. When you put it into context of all the war and torture and animal abuse and everything throughout the history of the world.. It's really.. Difficult.
Though.. I hope it is better in the future and I've been spending most of my life doing whatever little bit I can to try to help and will continue to.
I dunno how we can ever "win" or stop many messed up things in the world, but that doesn't mean I won't try and keep thinking about it almost all the time..
Anyways.. You're welcome for writing the article. Thanks for the thoughtful comment and for the positive boost and again the great quote! Best wishes to you. I won't give in!
