The annual ranking of the world's 50 best pizzerias, created by the Italian initiative 50 Top Pizza, has been published.
This is the most important ranking of the world's pizzerias, which has been compiled by anonymous inspectors since 2017, guided primarily by the quality of the pizza, but also by other criteria, such as service, and the wine and beer list.
This year, two pizzerias, I Masanielli from Caserta in Italy and Una Pizza Napoletana from New York, share the first place in the list of the world's best pizzerias. The third place went to the Parisian pizzeria Peppe.
In fourth and fifth place are also pizzerias from Italy, namely from Naples - 50 Kalò and Diego Vitagliano Pizzeria.
Based in Naples, Pizzeria I Masanielli has established itself as a world-renowned pizzeria where people come from far and wide to pay homage to the city's greatest culinary invention.
"The menu is about the research of the most modern doughs, precise cooking and interesting combinations of high-quality ingredients that speak of the experimentation of a classy kitchen with pizza that remains the absolute protagonist of the table", says the page of 50 Top Pizza.
This pizzeria has won first place for four years in a row.
