I am so cool! I attract the coolest people into my life. I am always amazed at the wonderful experiences I have in my life. I ask myself, why does everything always work out for me?
The other day I was scrolling on Instagram, like I do, when I came along some of the actors’ reels. First, let me say that I have been trying to improve my golf game and have been following a bunch of golfing reels. I came across a reel showing Adam Sandler’s’ swing at a golf ball 25 years after Happy Gilmore, and of course I followed him.
Following Adam Sandler, opened all kinds of reels of different actors in comedy. I saw the Rock buy a bunch of king size Snickers because he stole them as a kid. I saw David Spade’s story telling how Adam Sandler gave them all new cars.
Then I came across a reel with Drew Barrymore. She was in her living room showing off a new table that has storage space in it. To prove how big the storage was, she climbed inside. It made me laugh.
I liked her post and thought, ‘she is so funny, I sure wish I could hang out with her.’
Before I even finished my thought, Drew Barrymore sent me a message. It said, “Do I know you? Your picture looks so familiar to me.”
I get a lot of scammers on my Instagram pretending to be famous people. Mostly I try to get them to join Hive or mess with them for fun, so I said, “Yeah, don’t you remember? We came to Earth together, and we made a pact that before the end of our lives, we would get together for one last shin-ding. I’m so glad you messaged me because I thought you forgot.”
She texted back quickly, “I do remember!!!! Oh, wow I can’t wait to see you again!”
It took me a while talking to her through text before I believed it was the real Drew Barrymore. We texted for a while before she had to go to an appointment. I told her, “You know I was just kidding about the Earth Pact.”
She said, “Oh I know, but it made me laugh. I do think we should get together. Would you like to spend a week with me, dressed like fairies and living in a tree house?” Drew asked me.
“Heck yeah.” I said, not even asking why.
She sent a car to get me, and I was flown to an undisclosed location which turned out to be a movie set. Drew saw me approaching and ran to give me a hug. “I’m so glad you are here! We have so much to talk about. But no time! I got you set up in this trailer. I will be in that one. Once you are dressed, we will meet up in the treehouse.”
It turned out that Adam Sandler was filming a new movie about Robin Hood and his merry men who wonder into the forest and eat some magic mushrooms. They come across a magical tree where the fairies live. And I got to be Drew Barrymore’s fairy friend! They even wrote lines for me.
It was so cool. And the movie was hysterical.
I got to meet all the cast, and of course I got to meet Adam and his wife, who played the part of the wise Fairy God-mother.
I have to say this was one of the best experiences of my life.
And I got a new best friend… Me and Drew make it a point to catch up once a year to go on some kind of crazy adventure.
