Read this before voting!

Buildnotawhale aka Deadpool wannabe, and his sycophant followers are zeroing all my post on the 6th day into the drain for reasons unknown that has nothing to do with abuse.
If you don't find my content valuable then fine, just simply either vote with no weight or walk away. If you want to vote my posts that is fine too. I consider them as tips. We all have our own interpretation of what these are. Either way, I find it much more secure to just donate directly here with liquid HIVE, HBD or even with second layer tokens using tribaldex, leodex or the hive keychain for example.

Author rewards are set to @commentrewarder 100 for your consideration. These may still go through fine, for now. Otherwise I may be forced to just burn all rewards.

It's a warzone here but,
you're invited to Hive if you like the cause.

OFFICIAL POST HERE:

Here's all the official stats you need to know about this unique coins creation and what it represents.

The link above is the source of those two images. It's in español however so I'll quickly go over it here.

Forged in the depths of a volcano in the land Mordor this coin to rule them all was minted in 2021 with a circulation value of 20MXN which today is about 1USD. Not something you see often used in the open market, so these types of coins usually become a collectors item.

I recently have been lucky to come across one. But why lucky?

Well, shortly after it being released, it gained massive popularity after a collector who is very fond of history and purchased a mint coin C1 type coin for 6 million pesos mexicanos. Another for million and so on to 50k in the open market is being sold now. Depending on its own condition of course because some are on sale for 100 to 200usd.

I have still yet to accurately classify my own but I will share something peculiar I found that I have yet to see on others of the same coin. Yes a small defect.

But first, it's composition. Yes I'm copy pasting this part from the link above:

Bimetallic: nickel brass center and aluminum bronze ring (Center: 65% copper; 10% nickel; and 25% zinc. Ring: 92% copper; 6% aluminum; and 2% nickel)

If you zoom into the front side, above the head of Vicente Guerrero you will see a small indication of extra metal filament that managed to slide into a dye crack during it's creation process. I think. I am not entirely sure if I am using correct terminology here some may even call it a cud defect. But we'll have to wait and see what the experts have to say when I get the opportunity to take it in for further examination. Feel free to compare with the ones at the start of this post.

Back side:

Zoomed in on the defect:

It's very small probably about 1mm at most, I am not sure as I don't have a measuring device with that small measurements on hand. From what I gathered on the web it may give it a boost of up to 100usd or maybe more just for this defect. Again, no clue how true that is. I am guessing it depends on the collector.

Front: side

However since it's 2025 now, this coin has lost interest since it's first boom but may very well gain interest again so hence also why I present this here.

I will be encasing this coin as I find it to be in really good condition despite some micro scratches from being in someone's purse or pocket before I got it.

How I got it:

I currently work as an electrician but I haven't been working much but 2 o 3 days of the week these last 2 months. But each time I did it has been enough to carry me through the winter. And just this last Monday on the 6th was my birthday.
They day before that, I had ripped much of work jeans by accident so as a gift, I received some much needed cash which I went to spend on buying more clothes. And that is where I got this coin as change from the store. Fun story eh...

Anyways, I shoved it into my pocket and carried on unaware of what I may potentially have to be much more valuable. Not due to its age or rarity, but for what it represents.

Ok, so what does it represent?

History. Or more exactly the Bicentenario de la Independencia de México or Bicentennial of the Independence of Mexico. A group of festivities that started in 2010 to celebrate Mexico's fight for independence in 1810. This is a two day festival starting on September 15th and 16th. Expect lots of booze, fireworks and gritos these days. Source. Personally I am not too read up on Mexicos history so I'll leave it to the reader to DYOR on the subject as wiki is something I don't really trust at all except to acquire dates and names and names of events and locations. The finer details will require a deeper read.

I'm not a coin collector myself so yes I will be selling this coin if it's worth anything to the right person. But either way I'll keep it safe for now until further notice. If anyone is interested feel free to ask. I can take more zoomed in pictures at request if your interested.

Anyways I just wanted to share this bit with the hive crowd as I have seen a few times some coin collectors in the crowd here.

Thank you for reading.
