I've been playing Rising Star since I joined Hive in July 2021. I got online through this game.
First, I want to clarify that Jux is the sole owner of the game and also works as a developer. Trenton helps by creating the sounds for the instrument cards, Nupulse designs the cards, and so on. There are people who collaborate, but Jux is the only owner of the game.
And he's a great person.
Just so you know, I once made a post saying that StarPro (one of the game's tokens, mostly held by Rising Star and Waggy) was overvalued and that if they kept inflating it, it would exceed Hive's market cap.
I think I'd vote for it 100%.
That should show you the level of openness and tolerance in the Rising Star community. I've criticized things many times, and there have never been any repercussions.
There are many artists in the Rising Star community, musicians to be more precise. Many have their in-game card as recognition, release an NFT track as an album, and interact with the community when they can. But they don't own Rising Star; Jux is the owner. These artists are often Rising Star players as well. Over time, some continue to participate in the community, and others don't.
Stick is an artist and a Rising Star player, nothing more. Besides being a Rising Star artist, he also plays Rising Star, so it's normal that he promotes the game and wants the game's tokens to increase. He used his own money to try to raise the price. He always had a positive attitude toward promoting Rising Star.
Starbits have been steadily falling in price. I think they're at their lowest point right now, so maintaining those 600 million tokens definitely meant he lost money.
He buys Starbits and uses them to buy cards on the market and to open packs. He always supports the game.
That's why I only see him as an artist. I assume he had the same positive attitude in the BRO, CINE, and GIFU communities. And he should be posting about music instead of being offline and engaged in a downvote war.
Trenton Lundy has to be the best artist the game has. trentonlundy1 is his Hive account. He's on Marky's blacklist for doing giveaways, I think. He shouldn't be on a blacklist; he should be making music posts on Hive.
It would have been better for Hive to suggest he stop doing giveaways, suggest he make music posts, and give him some upvotes. But he ended up on a blacklist. You can listen to some of his NFT songs in Rising.
Or look him up on YouTube.

There are many artists in the Legendary section. And Hive is missing out on them.
But I see a lot of votes for fan art where the money earned doesn't stay in the game, with few cards appearing in Rising in many cases. I've never even seen some of them on the game's Discord server.
I'm now seeing the posts you mentioned. I'll reply before reading them.
I think SUB should have just blogged about music on HIVE 🙂. But it is his life so he can do what he wants. He has a stake so if he wants to downvote people I have to respect what he wants to do with his stake.
Also, he’s not even in a downvote war. I mean most people he downvotes are already moving on. Personally I’m moving on as well.
I literally can’t add more to the conversation.
I’ve said my piece. Time to move on to more positive things!
