Pi Enters the netWork

One Monday morning I run through my RSS feeds and come across an article that caught my attention. Somewhere I read the word "mining" and "free." Now I don't just jump on things just because their free. I did my reading and my research only to find a new way to mine for cyptoCurrency, specifically to mine on your mobile phone and best of all the application is free! So I immediately see a code invite (because you have to be invited to join the netWork) and I quickly join the community.

The Egg before the Chicken

Yes, this netWork is in its infancy. What excites me is I landed this just in time to enter the market incase this becomes the next cryptoCurrency. There is optimism in the air and me along with the Pi netWork community only wishes this can come to fruition.

How it works

1. First you have to be invited:
   Invitation Link (Be sure to use my code: calastinone)
2. Once you use the link above and use the invitation code Its pretty easy to set up and self explanatory. If you have any questions there is a menu at the top left of your app and it fully answers any questions you may have.
3. Go into your profile and verify your account. The application is free. It doesn't drain your battery nor does it use your data.
   
4. And thats pretty much it! The only thing you need to do now is hit the little "lighting Icon" to start mining.
   
   This is pretty much your front interface when you are plugged into the app on your phone. The app is made for Apple IOS and Android phones.
5. The next thing you need to do is every 24 hours you have to hit the "lightning icon" in order to keep mining for cryptoCurrency. You will receive a notification after 24 hours. You will begin mining as a beginner in the community called a "Pioneer" this is where we all start. I started here too!

Mining for Pi on the Network

There's really nothing to it, once you hit the icon to start mining you can close out the app and go on about your day. Your account will keep on mining at a beginning pace of about .20Pi for a beginner (Pioneer).

Now the motivation is there and they have built it in the network.

How to increase your mining influence

All you have to do is invite at least 3 of your peers, colleagues, or anyone interested in cryptoCurrency and interested in mining. You can go to your "Earn Pi" section of your menu and at the bottom of your phone screen there is an invite button that you can use in various ways to share your invitation to other interested people. Once your secure 3 people to your network the the Pi network will promote your account to "Contributor."

When I invite others to the network what happens next?

When you have 3 people added to your network they will promote you to "Contributor" this new role gives you more mining power to mine for Pi at a faster rate. We are all striving to mine for more Pi.

Suggestions

I would recommend when you enter our Pi Network go to the chat forums to read up on some of the latest updates, rules, and news to keep up with the most current events regarding the network. Like I said earlier the network is at its infancy stage. There are plans to build a node. Our community is optimistic. We're hoping this could turn into a cryptoCurrency and it would be awesome to see it listed on coin market cap and other exchanges. This would be a great opportunity to be at the ground floor of a new cryptoCurrency!
