Aristotelian thinking about ethics

in #phylosophy7 years ago (edited)

Hello all steemian...

Aristotle has a particular concern for ethical issues. Because ethics is not intended as ideals, but is used as a moral law. In his opinion, the ultimate goal of human life is happiness (eudaimonia). And the supreme human happiness is pure thinking.

Aristotle's view of ethics is that ethics is a means of achieving happiness and is the highest of things in life. It can educate people to have proper attitudes in all actions.

He further explains that goodness lies halfway between two ends of the most far.
For example: Courage is a good character that lies between cowardice and determination.

Thanks. All steemian....
