Rani Mahal also know as Ranighat palace is one of the oldest palace of Nepal which was made at the time of Rana dynasty.
This palace is located in the beautiful palpa district of Nepal near the bank of Kaligandaki river. Exactly saying, this palace was bulit by Khadaksamser Rana at the time of his regime for his beloved wife.
There is also small forest near the palace which was also name after her wife called as Raniban . This palace was made after his wife demise and he used to live in it . But after he was abandoned from Nepal, it was neglected for a long period of time. After the reconstruction and restoration, now a days it has become one of the popular destination for the visitor visiting the palpa district. This palace has added the beauty to that area along with attracting many foreign tourist.
There are many old national historical properties inside it which was used at the time of Rana dynasty . Now , they have become showpiece and helping in increasing tourism in this area.
Since it is located one huge rock near the basin of river, it could be seen from far away clearly.This palace is also considered as Taj Mahal of Nepal

Rani Mahal is a really great place with relics from ancient times. If you could find a guide that is actually an archaeologist who was amazing because our guide was an archaeologist and he had a real interest in describing Mahal and that is historical attention. Ran Mahal is the owner of many ancient ruins from a temple that has been ruined, so you can see these ancient ruins and see the quality from long ago. In addition, you could consider JHANSI in rich colors, as it has been renovated and the place where she used to address the meeting. Nice hotel. Well worth a visit.
