#899 - Sagada Mountain Province Shots for Wednesday.
Dear Hivean friends, may this Wednesday dawn a new era of boundless inspiration and limitless potential. As the sun rises and casts its golden rays across the sky, let us embrace the transformative power of each new day. The clock strikes the eighth hour, a reminder that with every tick, the world turns ever forward giving us all the strength and courage to reach for the brightest of dreams. Today as we stand at the precipice of the unknown, let us remember that our shared humanity our compassion and love for one another is the most powerful weapon we possess. So let us join hands and hearts united in a common purpose and stride forth towards a future where our children shall bask in an era of peace and prosperity. For in the words of the great poet, "If there is no God, nothing matters. If there is a God, nothing is without God." So let us rise not in spite but because of our beliefs and in the name of all that is good and just let us forge ahead, unswerving in our dedication to make this world a better place.
Now for our daily shots one dawn on the mountaintops of Sagada's Pog O viewpoint, my wife and I and other visitors bare witness to a breathtaking sunrise of unparalleled beauty. The chilling air was pierced only by the ethereal fog that enveloped the valley below rendering everything in a state of serene stillness. The dawn's early light cast its faint glow upon the horizon and only serving to emphasize the sheer vastness of the world beyond.
In that moment as the sun's rays pierced the mist of clouds and fog, I felt a profound connection to the universe that transcended the physicality of our mortal being. The beauty of the scene before us was not just in the sight but in the shared experience of witnessing the miracle of existence. And as the sun climbed ever higher I realized that our journey had only just begun. We had only just begun to discover the wonders that lay hidden in the folds of the fog, waiting to be explored and cherished.
With heavy hearts, we retraced our steps back to the bustling metropolis of Manila but our minds and hearts forever changed by the indelible mark left by the beauty of the natural wonders of Sagada. The Halsema highway, the highest in the land. We stopped for a moment, capturing the breathtaking beauty that unfolded before us.
Then in a sudden fit of nostalgia, we made one last stop at a gas station, its giant Igorot frame a haunting reminder of the indomitable spirit of the indigenous people.
But our journey was not complete. For the beauty of Benguet province with its awe-inspiring vistas and the undeniable mark of human endeavor, left an indelible impression upon our very souls as we made a last stop at the Benguet arc for some jump shots or maybe not 😉.
