#880 - Mount Kabunian Summit Shots for Sunday.

Blessed Sabbath dearest Hiveans. As the sun rises over the horizon, casting a warm and gentle light upon the world, a sense of tranquility and peace settles upon the land. This Sunday morning or evening particularly here in the Philippines, the world seems to pause, taking a deep breath and inhaling the sweet scents of nature. Birds sing sweet melodies with their voices blending harmoniously with the rustling of leaves and the gentle breeze. People wander through the streets, their faces relaxed and content, exchanging warm smiles and kind words. In this moment, all is well, and the world is at peace. May your Sunday evening or morning be filled with love, joy, and serenity😉.

Now for our daily shots perched atop the majestic Mount Kabunian, the three of us...me, the wife, and a friend, stood together, basking in the serenity of the moment. The fog, like a veil of mystery, shrouded the landscape, obscuring the breathtaking view that lay beyond. But we didn't need the vista to appreciate the grandeur of the moment. The air was crisp and clean, carrying the scent of pine needles and damp earth.

We also stood by a fallen pine tree trunk, its gnarled limbs reaching out like the arms of a giant, providing us with a rustic platform to commemorate our achievement.

As we stood there, the fog slowly began to lift gradually revealing tantalizing glimpses of the surrounding terrain. But we were content to stay there, simply enjoying each other's company, the silence punctuated only by the distant call of a bird or the rustle of leaves. It was as if time had come to a standstill, and we were the only ones in the world atop this mountain.

We took photos not just to capture the moment but to preserve the feeling, the connection and the sense of awe that we shared.

Each of us posed on the fallen pine trunk our faces lit up with joy. We took photos at the signage indicator that marked the peak of Mount Kabunian, our hands raised in triumph, our smiles broad and genuine.

In that moment atop the fog-shrouded peak, we were more than just three individuals plus our guide of course. We were a family, united in our love for adventure and for the world around us.

And as we descended the mountain, we carried with us the memories, the physical pain and exhaustion, the laughter forever etched in our hearts.
