#386 - Igorot Stone Kingdom in Baguio.

Happy Thursday my fellow Hiveans. Yesterday, I was supposed to go out for a quick run in the river with my wife but I got extended at work because of some issues😅. I ended up extending two more hours and got off at around six in the evening already. I am thinking that I am getting overworked already because this happens several times in a work week.😅 But I am going to keep my patience up because I need a work to pay the bills.

Anyways enough with that. Let me share some photos when we went to this newly built park in the outskirts of the city. The place is called Igorot Stone Kingdom which is owned by a local who saw a potential of the mountain to be developed into this stone architecture.

The place is almost complete, some part of the concrete building only needs a few finishing touches. And for the other parts which are made of stones are already finished.

The theme in this part of the park is similar to those small scale mining, people can get inside the tunnel and will get out to the nearby opening which is only a few feet away from this entrance 😅. Sort of an experience to those who don't have ideas about small scale mining which is still being practice here in the mountain areas.

This area is the path going to the top of the concrete building while having a view of the stone architecture.

Me and my son under a stone formations which does not have any concrete mixtures but done only by placing the stones on top of each other which is a skill developed by the locals here.

See the crowd below? There's more to it than that and two weeks after this visit, the covid cases in the Metropolitan has increase 1000 folds. Crazy right?
