#1082 - Patapat Viaduct Shots in Pagudpud Ilocos Norte for Sunday.

Good day dearest Hiveans across the world! A hopeful Sunday to us all. It's a beautiful day to recharge our energy and focus on what restores our spirits. Wishing you and your family a Sunday filled with simple joys and a heart full of gratitude. Enjoy this special day to the fullest😍.

Moving on to our daily shots, It was morning on our second day when we went to the Patapat Viaduct just after sunrise. We woke up early in Pagudpud, my wife, our son, our friend Dandreb, and I, wanted to see the famous bridge first before our other errands in the checklist. We drove to the viaduct, this incredible concrete bridge curved along the edges of these mountains of Ilocos Norte.

We were there literally right on the boundary between Ilocos and Cagayan. Dandreb took our family photk together with the sign behind us tattered with pins from motorcycle riders who also visited this spot. It was one of those shots that you would know you'll look back on for years as it's all saved here in Hive😊.

But then, no Ilocano adventure is complete without trying their famous food. Just off the roadside near the viaduct where we stopped is where we found a small stall selling the famous authentic Ilocos empanadas. For only just about $1 each, we ordered lots of these crispy, orange colored, fresh from the pan, super hot empanadas, my son finished 3, while my wife and I got three also. It has those delicious filling of longganisa, cabbages, carrots and egg. It was also cheap,compared to those in malls, delicious and satisfying while eating it we see the long viaduct and the blue sea.

After that meal, we walked along a safe stretch of the viaduct, leaning on the railing too and even watch the waves below. The air was strong and kinda salty. We took more photos of this engineering marvel with the coastline and of us just being there. We weren't rushing to our next stop so we took time being here and enjoyed every moment.
