#1081 - More Shots of Me and My Old Pal Jumpy for Friday.
Good morning dearest Hiveans around the world! A wonderful and uplifting Friday to us all. Whether your ideal weekend is going to be packed with adventure or defined by relaxation, hope it gives you exactly what you need and enjoy the moments that bring happiness. Wishing you a truly refreshing and joyful Friday.
Moving now to our daily shots one late afternoon while the sun was still warm, my wife and I decided to take a short walk to the wide meadows near to the Well to Do Village near our area. That time of day when the light turns golden across the grass really feels made for slowing down. The meadows an open space where you can see kids chasing each other, teenagers practicing tricks on their bikes and joggers and love birds spending time. For many, it's a perfect spot to relax.

We brought our old dog Jumpy with us. At his age, he’s not up for runs but just walks only setting his own pace. His walks are more about sniffing adventures, he’d stop every few meters, mark the place and moves on. We also noticed some stray cats that lived there without any human owners. The cats are friendly though to humans and not afraid, probably some good samaritans often comes here to feed them.

As the day began to cool, we heard the familiar bell of an ice cream vendor on a push cart who arrived loaded with containers of sorbetes or what we called "dirty ice cream" not for its cleanliness but for its traditional charm. We joined a few other families and their kids and we bought a cone of the Uber, avocado flavor.

Standing there eating our ice cream while Jumpy rests at our feet. The meadows got this happy energy. Kids laughed with their ice and the golden hour light made everything look soft and friendly. It was a simple late afternoon outing, nothing grand but it was filled with the details that make ordinary moments so special.
