#1075 - More Shots From Our Three Lakes Hike in Kabayan Benguet for Saturday.
Good morning greetings dearest Hiveans across the world! A peaceful Saturday to us all. This day, let's take a deep breath and simply enjoy the luxury of time that. Sending you a huge wave of positive and relaxing energy to every single one. Enjoy this Saturday to the absolute fullest and recharge in your own perfect way😍.
Moving now to our daily shots on one afternoon in Ballay, Kabayan when the air was already crisp when we met our guide who is a local woman who has knowledge of the mountains we were about to conquer. Our goal was the three lakes up high on the slopes which are all part of the vast Mount Pulag National Park. The trail began gently but with lots of steps going uphill. We entered areas what they call a mossy forest which every surface has blanket of moss. It covered the tree trunks, fallen logs and even the stones underfoot.

The trail wasn't a clear open path but instead a natural dense tunnel through the trees and its wilderness, there's also large boulders of stone we climbed. There's lots of low hanging tree branches with moss across our way and we often had to duck or push them aside. Our guide moved ahead with ease while we followed, we also had funny conversations along the way.

After some climb, the trees finally reveal the first lake. It was a beautiful bit was also covered by thick fog, this one is called Lake Ambalalacao. Reaching it felt like discovering a secret world that is mystical like they name it. The lake was has silence over the place broken only by the wind.

The journey between the three lakes was a big part of our adventure that afternoon when we arrived in Kabayan. We stopped often and not just for breath but to simply absorb the quiet of nature. We took more photos of the fascinating moss, the trees and the views of the surrounding areas we could see along the trail. Our guide pointed out subtle names for certain plants and it's edible fruits while connecting us deeper to the landscape.
