The people on their balconies

La gente, en la Habana Vieja, suele pasar mucho tiempo asomada a los balcones de sus apartamentos. Los balcones les sirven para colgar la ropa al sol, para pensar, para mirar a la calle y olvidar los problemas propios y, a veces, enterarse de los problemas de la otra gente.

People, in Old Havana, usually spend a lot of time leaning out of the balconies of their apartments. The balconies are used by people to hang their clothes in the sun, to think, to look at the street and forget their own problems and, sometimes, find out about other people's problems.

Fotografiar a la gente, en sus balcones, es fotografiar las historias detrás de sus miradas.
