The clearest lake in China, six times the size of Hong Kong, is known as the "last tear in the Atlantic"

Sayram Lake, located in the north Tianshan Mountains of Xinjiang, China. It’s a mountain lake with the highest altitude, the largest area and beautiful scenery of Xinjiang.

Sayram Lake called "clean sea", it covers an area of 453 square kilometers. The average depth of water is 46.4 meters, the deepest reaches 106 meters, and the volume of water is 21 billion cubic meters. The water is so clear and transparent that it is 12 meters in transparency. It is also known as the "last tear of the Atlantic" because it is the last place for the warm and humid Atlantic air.

Sayram is a high mountain cold water lake, the lake water in addition to some of the surrounding small rivers, mainly by groundwater recharge.
