While in Upper Queen Anne, I wanted to test out the macro feature with this new camera I acquired (Canon PowerShot SD1400 IS Digital Elph). I initially focused on moss, on tree bark. While I was scanning the details of the tree bark, I found these tiny mushrooms.

It’s hard to tell from this image… but these tiny, brown, mushrooms were only about a quarter of a centimeter tall. Without looking through the viewfinder of the camera, these would likely be mistaken for a type of moss or lichen.
