Witnessing a beautiful sunset in Whistler

in #photography7 years ago

It has always been my dream to visit Canada and when me and my husband booked flights to go we were beyond excited! We run our own business and we hadn't taken any time off in the 5 years since we started. We had worked so hard that going to Canada was a huge achievement and goal of ours.

When we arrived in Whistler village it was like a fairytale or something like you would see in a film. All the ski chalets and snowy trees were just how we pictured them, only better! We arrived at night time so we went straight to sleep and woke up to another 3 foot of fresh snow!

After a long day snowboarding on the mountains we came back to our lodge, rested and got some food. We talked about how far our business had come in the last few years and how it had lead us to this moment in Whistler. We just felt so very grateful.

We looked outside and this beautiful sunset appeared! With the snowy mountains in the background and snow capped trees it was just so perfect. We couldn't have wished for a greater experience.

Nature has its way of surprising you, I have always been fascinated with the outdoors and when you witness scenes like this how could you not want to see more and more each day! The World is such an amazing place and we are just here to experience it.
