I'm totally with you on the part about technology making our lives easier. I remember the days when I used to have to carry hundreds of pieces of paper with me when I was travelling - boarding passes, bus tickets, hotel confirmations, important phone numbers etc. Now it's all in my phone. Even entertainment things like books, ipod and sudoku have been replaced. So much easier to travel light these days.
That's interesting that you met so many people who didn't know what a blogger was. I think you're right that it's the older generation. I'm amazed how so many people have no clue about the social media platforms that make up 80% of my life. Still, like you say I imagine in another generation there won't be anyone who doesn't know about blogging. And hopefully we'll all be famous as a part of blogging history :D
