I really enjoy veiwing your snow themed images @fotosdenada Truly beautiful. We have finally received decent rain which has been very effective in putting out numerous fires around Queensland, some of which have been raging for over two weeks. What a relief!

Good to hear the fires are under control. Did they destroy many structures, or were they mostly rural? Fires are so destructive. I hope the rain helped clear the air of some of the smoke and debris, too.
A few years ago, there was a huge wildfire in northern Minnesota. They could smell the smoke hundreds of miles away in Chicago.
It is good news @fotosdenada I know homes were destroyed but am not sure how many. I do know that over one million hectares was burnt in Queensland which is a huge area and most of it was rural, but many rely on the land to make a living so it has been devastating for them........especially so close to Christmas.
