This photo was taken during a huge snowstorm in Ottawa, Canada (the country's capital). One of the reasons why I love this photo is because this bus, "the 7 to Carleton" is the bus that I take every day from my home to get to university. This photo also symbolizes one of the most impressive aspects of spending winter here in Canada every year; NOTHING STOPS.
The number of programs set in place by the city to clear the masses of snow that fall on the city every year is insane and means that even when 10 inches of snow is falling on our heads, the city continues to function.
Thank you for checking out my photo, and please comment down below where you come from and whether you ever have snow there? :)
Until next time,
Tristan :)

Hi Tristan! A cool post! I love the idea of a city being able to plough throw, literally. It's amazing what can be done, here in NYC people act like it's the end of the world when we get snow. It wasn't always like that. As a kid we'd get tons of snow (though not as much as Ottawa), and the city would never close school. Think I might have had a hand full of snow days in 12 years but as the subway has become more run down New York is more prone to shutting down. This has been an easy winter. Hardly any snow. How about you?
Hey! Thank you for your lovely comment :) This winter has been pretty easy going for us this year! Lots of snow, but the temperature keep itself at manageable levels haha. In Ottawa, its really the cold that gets you... It often gets down to -30 here for days on end and its just horrible, you literally cant leave the house. I have always wanted to go to NYC to take some pictures... If I have some time off during the summer, I might make my way down there :)
