RE: Travel with me #30: Visiting the ancient city wall of Xi'an.

in #photography8 years ago

I have been to China but not this city.

So I have to ask, is there any credence to the idea that near Xi'an there are other large ancient pyramids, similar to the famous one with the Terracota soldiers? That still have not been excavated or explored?

Sort:

So, first and foremost, you must visit Xi'an, it is the center of culture and heritage in China. The first and oldest of the four great capitals.

The actual tomb of the emperor Qin shi huang is still yet to be excavated and likely, never will be. Another tomb still left un excavated is that of Empress Wu Zetian. These are just two big examples, and there are others.

Yeah agreed, I have only been to Shanghai and Beijing basically because I was there for business. However Xi'an would be a fund place to visit for fun. Thanks for the nice post, and good luck with your blog.
