TimTravels - La Ville Lumière: Paris - Part 2

in #photography7 years ago

All good things come to an end. That what I hear many times but is this really the truth?

No it's not! I might have left Paris but the next adventure is approaching. Where one door closes another door opens. In today's second part of my Paris trip I will show you the beauty sides of the city of love also known as the city of light, la ville lumière.

If you have missed the first part you can see it here TimTravels - La Ville Lumière: Paris - Part 1.

In the last episode of TimTravels I asked you where this picture was taken from, here is the solution:

It's the Pantheon as Steemian @singa guessed correctly! 5 SBD go to you, congratulations.

As anywhere else the queue to the Pantheon was quite large so we skipped it and only took pictures from outside the building. Still beautiful! After some shots we moved towards Notre-Dame de Paris which is located on the Île de la Cité , a little island within Paris. The walk was very pleasant as you will see.

I think I repeat myself but Paris so one of the most beautiful city in the world! Being two days here was definitely not enough and I will come back very soon. I miss this place already. It's not just the buildings and parks but also the people there! There was one guy I wont forget cause he made my whole trip very special. @vladikras said he reminded him of a kind of NPC from a computer game who gives you a quest, basically a quest master. I saw he took donations and so I gave him 10€ and asked him what I should do next. Guess his answer? He literally said, "Live your life to its fullest and treat others as you wish to be treated."

Simply but effective words since they represent my mindset. Much love and respect to him for spreading the word.

When you think of Paris what comes to your mind? You said it, art and fashion! The people there know how to dress well and have a lot of talented artists. Just have a look at this artists at work. I shall call him master since I cant even draw a proper smiley or round circle. The whole is located in the Montmartre artist square.

Tomorrow will follow the last part of my Paris travel post. One more thing! Yesterday I uploaded one picture and almost no one noticed it or said something. Here is the picture again. Look closely!

Thanks for following my travel posts! If you enjoy them feel free to follow me and resteem! Having your feedback and knowing your experience in travel and photography is very important to me and others. Feel free to ask any questions. All pictures taken with Nikon D750

What a beautiful post and the photos are superb really ? What camera are you using ? The last photo is extraordinary, can you explain it to us please this shadow alone floating )) So i lived in Paris for 20 years. Not more than ten minutes fromLe Pantheon ) A jewel of a city which a lifetime could not possibly totally reveal as indeed there is so much to see, in the corners where we do not ordinarily look as a tourist !! thanks for the memories ) steem ON

what a nice photos :)

Wow, those are the most beautiful pictures!! The culture in Paris is one you find no where else in the world. It is so sad regarding all the recent attacks happening against the culture in France and the rest of Europe.

Sad times but people are stronger than that. All will be good

Tim,

WOW!! Great photos. Are you a professional photographer because it seems like it.

I live in Sevilla, Spain. These cities are simular in many ways. Maybe you can get over here sometime and shot some cool photos of our Cathedrals..

Thanks man!

Your welcome

Thanks for sharing these excellent posts Tim!

Thanks bro!

Resteemed! That is awesome. I am french and I lived in Paris a few years, so I had the chance to take my time exploring the city. What most fascinates me is the architecture. Building being uniform but unique at the same time. I am writing a comic posted here on Steemit, which takes places in beautiful Paris.

I try to show another side of the city though...
Great pictures you posted. That's amazing reference for me going forward in my project! ;-)

Very cool post, I dig the photo of the guy drawing portraits. Seems like one hell of an experience. Keep it up!

I have only been to Paris once in my life, but your camera seems to be able to capture moments I like to find myself in, especially when exploring a city on foot and alone. I love that the bike tinker gave you a thumbs up in the middle of the street. Your shots of Montmartre reminded me of so much history, both personal and in the greater cultural reach. Thank you.

I agree , Paris is beautiful!!!. But whats more beautiful is your shots you took, they are amazing man.

Great shots @timsaid !!!

I really thought more people will say something to this picture :D But no one noticed lol

I still don't get it. How that happened? Crazy Photoshop skills or is it something else?

That is awesome lol. Just shows a lot of people are not looking at the small details =D

The NPC guy is so epic! what a nice ride he has

Fabulous. Love the pictures of Notre Dame. You are in the 1st arrondissement!

Make sure you shoot over to the Alexander III bridge. It's amazing.

its just amazing photography. Best shoot see in my life.Hope to see it again.

C'est la perfection! The sequel I've been waiting for :-)

You really captured the moments in time with each picture. "Live your life to its fullest and treat others as you wish to be treated." Words to live by, even if we forget from time to time in the rush of everyday life. The street artist drawing portraits is amazing - what a gift of talent.

Thanks again for sharing this adventure with everyone.

I would have to agree with you - it certainly appears to be one of the most beautiful places - However, I would have to also add that where I live - Cape Town, South Africa... is also an amazingly beautiful place and is in fact listed by many as one of the top travel destinations in the world.

I am VERY blessed to call it home!!

Couldn't agree with you more. Cape Town is a wonder on it's own.

I need to go to Paris sometime. I visited Marseilles, but it is nothing like what you show here. Thanks!

Great pictures as always dude :) My fav is the one with the boat on the river Seine

These photos are so satisfyingly gorgeous <3

I wish I can visit Paris in my lifetime and see the art all around the area, for now it's just a dream. Btw, that bicycle with an old man riding on it? Reminds me of the movie The Time Machine.

Thanks for sharing the world with us !
