RE: For Those New to My Aerial Wilderness Photography ~ yehaw

This is fantastic! Very well done and so beautiful. Im showing this to me brother in law he has been a long time pilot. I get to fly with him now and again. It is such a treat. We were on a short trip just the other day and amazed at all untouched wilderness out there, even fairly close to me.
I have a question for you if you don't mind for my next trip with him. I wanted to mount my Gopro on the outside of his plane. Just the little mount would be permanent. It has a metal leash too. Im sure your familiar. He got nervous about it and we decided not to do it. How did you mount your external cameras? I assume you used rivets or something permanent for the mounts. I thought about very strong magnets but hell I don't know how to determine what's strong enough. I use magnet mounts at home. The glue pads on the standard go-pro mounts are very strong , and the mount is slightly curved which is perfect, but i'm not sure they are 150 mile an hour wind strong. It's not the camera I am so worried about but it getting sucked into something it shouldn't. I would love to see how you did it. Sorry for all the amature questions. Shared on FB this is very cool!
