Many tourists come to visit the Thai beaches in the south, imagine a scene like from the famous movie "The Beach": Beautiful wide sandbars, pleasant seclusion and untouched nature. The reality, however, looks a bit different from the cinematic template.
Hustle and jostling for the best place on the water and in the sand. A crowded get-together, still everyone in search of the hidden beach. Unfortunately, often at the expense of nature. We are all looking for the best place under the sun, let's not forget how fragile the external beauty can sometimes be.
Photos were taken at Patong Beach and Hong Island in Phuket with Olympus Trip 35.
Love your words with these photos.
Thanks for these kind words! And nice to see a fellow traveler:)
Nice series!
Thanks a lot Walter. Really enjoy your works too!
You're welcome and thanks!
I am craving for beach pictures on color film. I will be following you for more dear @theviewfinder ;) By the way, would you mean sharing the filmstock you used? I would say it looks fuji-ish but I am not sure.
Thank you @wllmdnnd. I like your style too. Not a lot of analog work on steemit so far, therefore always a pleasure to find someone shooting the same way. I think i used Kodak colorplus 200 or FujiColor 200 but I'm not so sure anymore :D
Thank you. Hopefully the community of film shooter here will grow with time.
