~Welcome~
If you are anything like me, you are probably always looking for creative ways to make your pictures ~stand the f@#% out~. One effective technique I've found is adding an extra visual layer to a part of the picture, such as taking your picture through a pair of polarized sunglasses (see pictures below). Although it has definitely been done before, from my experience it is not always done in an effective way with a complimentary editing job to match. If used effectively, it can allow you to create moods and tones that are difficult to recreate with other means. When using sunglasses, I find it gives the feeling that you are really there, standing in front of the subject on a sunny day. There is a list below with ideas for other objects you could use to add an extra layer to your picture, in addition to 2 of my portrait and skyline pictures using sunglasses.
I hope that this post inspires you to go take some awesome pictures. If you have any similar ideas or constructive feedback for me - please share them in the comments, and if you feel at all inspired by this post toss me the upvote!
