Water always move down the gradient from higher potential to lower potential and eventually mingles with some streams / river that leads either to a lake or ocean. It can move upward and reach the sky only through evaporation; that means, it has to transform itself from liquid to gases stage to make this journey possible. Without this transformation, it cannot move upward. Likewise, humans also can attain higher consciousness and reach the upper realm of life only through arduous practice and spending right energy that leads to such transformation. Humans have always challenged Nature and on every challenge he realized its limited power. Present fountain is an expression to that end. Fountain forces the water artificially (through pump) to a limited height only against gravity. It though attains some height in the same liquid stage, but nowhere near the sky.
