Hello guys ... How are you to afternoon !!!

The sea is one of the objects that is very important in this, because if the sea is not created there will be a deficiency in everything in this world.

One thing that is very popular with the sea is salt water, why is sea water created salty? Surely this is an interesting thing if reviewed in this post.

But beforehand to find out the answer we must include the idea of the sea itself, thus let us consider the review below.

🖌 Explanation of the sea

In this case I personally refer to the explanation of the experts when defining it, namely the ocean is a collection of spacious and large amounts of salt water so that its existence inundates all of nature, if it counts there is one third of the land. While land consists of continents or islands, while on land there is also a lot of water such as lakes and river cloths and so on.

The presence of sea water in this world covers a very wide land surface and generally contains a salt taste that tastes salty. Every water on land such as lake water, river water is basically every water that flows on land will go to the ocean, so that all components of water will flow into the ocean.

🖋 Why sea water tastes salty

Have you ever wondered why sea water tastes salty? While the water on the mainland is fresh, of course you have also thought the same as me. As in the previous explanation that the sea water becomes salty because the minerals originating on land settle for a long time but when the water in the land flows towards the ocean the minerals that have settled for years will be carried along with the water when heading towards the open sea.

Or in another explanation that it happens because when it rains on land, like in mountains, lakes, rivers and others. So that water will always seep into the ground. Then it happens little by little the water will come out again through the river and finally into the high seas.

When water comes from rivers or flows from lakes to open seas, water from land also carries minerals, so the oceans are filled with mineral salts sourced from soil sediment for many years and carried along with flowing water.

✒️ What is the size of the saltiness of sea water

Indeed in this case there is a difference in taste or level of saltiness in each sea. This means that each region in each country has a different saltiness, but the most famous is the red sea because in the red sea there is a high saltiness when compared to other oceans.
Experts say that the average salinity of sea water,

an average of 3.5%. This means that in 1 liter (1000 mL) of sea water there are 35 salts (mainly, but not all, salt) (NaCl).

As you have read above, although experts estimate salinity in sea water by an average of 3.5%, it still has differences between each region. If sea water in an area has salinity exceeding the percentage mentioned above, then every living thing cannot adapt to that environment.

But today we still see that every ocean in the world is still found living creatures that live in it, so it can be concluded that the salinity level of sea water today averaged 3.5%.

Thus the explanation of sea water, hopefully this post adds to your scientific insight. Thank you very much.
