I am always wowed by your macros, but, WOW really doesn't cover it. You take my eyes to places they have never been. Thank you for these wonderfully awesome captures.

The eyes of a marmalade fly? Love. Ditto with the rain on the spiderweb. the other are merely amazing. :)

Upped and Steemed

thank you Denise , it is a challenge every time to move in slowly and keep your hands steady.

As much of a challenge I KNOW it to be, you strike gold on a regular basis! Oh, for the patience you have!!!

You've got me googling Marmalade fly, for I said to myself: "This must be a Hover fly", while I never heard about Marmalade flies yet. And so I found out, that the Marmalade is a subspecies of the Hover fly!
Did learn something on Steemit again!
Btw: You got great macro shots again! They can be found on my wall now! 😉

the dutch call it "pyama fly " , but it is indeed a hover fly, thank you very much for sharing Patrick

These shots are awe inspiring for a fellow macro photographer in training. I been capturing them with my smartphones, but never could get close enough with improved pixel accuracy to get them to appear as awesome as yours. I hope to get the right tools soon to pull it off. We shall see!

Amazing and quite fascinating photography StressKiller. Wow a huge vote up and resteem as well as automatic follow if I wasn't following you already.

Oh wow it's Mick long time no see bro! glad to locate your awesome macro photography out on Steemit. Catch you around.

Thank you very much , yes Mike i joined Steemit +/- 3 weeks ago i think still finding my way around , but there are a lot of TSU people here so we all are reuniting again here.

Amazing pictures!!!

💙💚💗

I have to get a macro lens and try these shots. They look awesome. upvote.

some are made with macro lens some with extension tubes others with reversed lens , i use every possibility to see what works best for me.

Amazing macro!

thank you very much Carmen -Maria

Awesome shots -thanks

The first one is amazing. Well done

thank you very much Max28

Hahaha - I like that last one! :D
Frankly, they're all amazing... I could stare into that marmalade fly's eyes forever... and those raindrops...look as if they're suspended in space... and I could go on and on...

thank you very much AC

You're most welcome, Mick! :)

Awesome macros @stresskiller. Upvoted, resteemed & DPS.

thank you very much :)

Nice!!!! What lense did you use - Just bought the Sony E 30mm f/3.5 Macro

i mostly use reversed lenses ( vivitar 35-70mm , sal1855 or rokkor 28mm 3.5 ) or lenses with extension tubes ( rokkor 50mm 1.7 , helios 44-2 , jupiter 9 , rokkor 135mm ) i hate macro lenses with autofocus the only "real " macro lens i have is the Sigma 105mm and that is being used by my daughter most of the times ,

Nice, thanks for the detail - its the second day of owning my new camera, and wanted to dabble with Macro so picked up the lense for very cheap of ebay - hopefully i can get some great results ;) - Dropped a follow!

good luck with exploring the macro world through your new lens :)

thank you , the answer is in the comments already : i mostly use reversed lenses ( vivitar 35-70mm , sal1855 or rokkor 28mm 3.5 ) or lenses with extension tubes ( rokkor 50mm 1.7 , helios 44-2 , jupiter 9 , rokkor 135mm ) i hate macro lenses with autofocus the only "real " macro lens i have is the Sigma 105mm and that is being used by my daughter most of the times ,
