Gorgeous shots - the first especially. What's neat about photos - and sharing them somewhere with strangers - is that they're so multi-dimensional in a way. We see beautiful images, interesting composition, a frozen moment in time. We wonder, "How'd he BREATHE with all that flour on him?" Or, "What was it like being on that movie set and anticipating what the film would end up like?" But you were there for the taking of the pictures, there for the flour, there for the movies. You can see the images and instantly remember what you felt, what was going on outside the frame. One of my favorite outcomes of the tech explosion is the ability to take as many pics as I want, to save them without physical clutter, and to be able to look at and work with them as long as I live. Captured moments is the perfect title for this piece on so many levels.
Wow that was such a beautiful comment. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!
It makes me smile that I made you think about this post so deeply.
And you are so right, a picture is much more than just a beautiful photograph, it's all about capturing the feeling of the moment, and when you look back at it, you instantly feel as if you are back in that same situation
