If you notice that whenever you are using a light source while recording your video that you tend to be washed out, chances are you need some type of diffuser.
This can be remedied with a softbox or even an umbrella flipped backwards. Instead of light hitting directly on you, it will be diffused and instead give you a much softer light hit, resulting in an even smooth light beam on your subject of focus!
Of course, it’s always better to use some sort of natural light such as a window, but if that’s not available one of these is a great option!
Hope you enjoyed yet another Quick Pro Tip, and I’ll see you guys next time!
I believe that everything I desire to accomplish, will in fact be accomplished.

Truth. Love me some Gels as well!
Great little tidbit about lighting, I love this. I have always struggled with perfecting lighting indoors - in particular for food photography. I will have to try some different diffusion techniques to really get the shot that I have in my head. Thanks so much ✌🏼
OooO That's why your videos are looking so good! You know all about lighting :0)
All cool @spenceryan
