Marriage is a mental bond between a man and a woman as a husband and wife with the aim of forming a happy and eternal family (rumahanaa) based on the One Supreme God (Article 1 of Law No. 1 of 1974 on Marriage). Marriage is lawful, if done according to the law of each religion and belief (Article 2, paragraph 1). The next verse states that: "Every marriage is recorded according to the prevailing laws and regulations". (Article 2 Paragraph 2).
Marriage books should not be underestimated by the bride and groom. Every bride who is recorded pernihakannya by KUA must be married, should be submitted after the marriage ceremony. The marriage book has also become an important part in the wedding photo moment. After all, surely no one who carries out a marriage just to get a marriage book. Marriage is something sacred, lawful and noble, so from that perspective also marriage books presented, which can mean more than just a symbol or a note.
