Wow this photo looks like it's straight out of a magazine! Did you use a black and white filter or is this just a natural gem?

I recently bought a Nikon because I'd like to start dabbling in photography. I'm planning on concentrating on urban shots like this with a focus on abandoned buildings. I live in the Buffalo, New York so its a urban photographers paradise... at least in my opinion.

Either way this is an amazing photo and I'd like to use it as my new phone lock screen if you wouldn't mind me doing that.
