Very nice pictures of the painted lady (Vanessa cardui ). As a migrant butterfly it flies from the south to Germany in late spring. I look forward to seeing him again soon. Today we had for the first time over 20° degrees and a lot of sun. That's what all butterflies and I love.

And yes, last spring we had an over-population of them, for a whole week you'd go outside and tens of them would just run into your face, all going the same direction. Beautiful butterfly.
