📷 One Of My Favorite Architectural Shots - Reflections of Light

in #photography7 years ago

Looking back at my old photos, this is one of my favorite architecture shots. I remember entering this shot for the 7th Steemit Photo Challenge, seemed only like yesterday :)

The shot was taken at Banqiao 435 Art Zone in Taipei, and I had my tripod resting on the edge of the water fountain. The ultra-wide angle lens allowed me to capture the fountain and the building.

lol i think your photo actually looks better than the place in real life.

also, not to hijack your thread although this is a shameless plug, i just made a post about the beitou library and another cool building in yilan. you should check it out, you'd probably make some godly photos O_O

Amazing photo!

Nice, that came out 'grand' Does taipei celebrate christmas? i know tokyo does decorations but they don't get recognize it as a public holiday like here in the states.

Taiwan does not recognize it as a public holiday, so we don't officially, yet some people still exchange gifts. And we have Christmas trees too lol. Strange eh!

I think japan does it for the consumerism. Actually so does the US. It's all about the money. Beautiful shot again!

Thanks Rudy :)

Thank you for including the camera information. I have just started taking photography classes and want to shoot wildlife and landscapes. I've been looking at the Canon 450D thinking it would make a good first camera (besides my phone).

You're welcome, it is an old camera by today's standards, but then again one doesn't need a fancy camera to take good photos ;)
