Hello Steemed folks from Steem community!
One fine weekend morning me with my friends decided to go visit Bannerghatta National park situated in the outskirts of Bangalore. This is one of the most well preserved national forests in India. It's situated at a distance of around 40 kilometers from the main city of Bangalore. It houses various kinds of animals in enclosures as well as free jungle area. There are different ticket options available, we opted for the safari with Zoo visit. I could click some inhabitants in their natural habitat. I hope you would like these :) So, without any further ado, let's begin!
We started our journey at 8:00 am in the morning
I found this beautiful flower petal, not sure of it's species and name though ;)
And some more of these unknown but beautiful thorns & petals
No, this is not put in there by the forest officials, but hey it's man's best friend so why differentiate in clicking them? I named him FRODO. Frodo was a happy dog and chased us for almost half of our journey after we gave him some biscuits to eat. Later he got busy with his day and we went on with ours, hahaha !
This white thing had me pondering over the precision and beauty of our nature. The creator must be such a genius and has such elaborate schemes to design every living (read DNA) or non living (read chemical composition) thing
There is a butterfly park in the forest premises which houses plethora of butterfly species, out them I could click some and god they were amazing!
One more of these tiny wonders chilling, just like any other damn day!
This flower was covered with red ants, courtesy bright colors and the sweet smell of the flowers
This is how the flower stigma and pollens look at a closer magnified level
The national park has a huge lake and has an option for the visitors to roam around in self driven boats. This was lonely and abandoned however, so I clicked it's photograph to make it feel worthy ;)
Oh you caged BEAST! Good for us that it was under cage, otherwise it's eyes were oozing an adventure, ready to take us on a run and then probably kiss us or kill us at the end, who knows!
Python is my favorite coding language, but this Python looked majestic AF nonetheless, chilling nonchalantly on it's rock bed
Some more butterflies because why not, who gets bored of these beautiful creatures anyway? Right?
This was spotted by luck but I feel really accomplished to have clicked anything like this in my short span of 'shooting' things. Two Butterflies MATING !
I have a weird animal crush on snakes. Many fear them, but somehow I have different outlook towards them, such an amazing creation of the mother nature, aren't they? But, this thing was on another level, nothing like this have I seen in my entire life! This black & beautiful beast was 20 feet long, shiny as shoe polish well clad in a massive amount of badassery (Indian black cobras are known to be one of the most venomous snakes and are capable of killing it's prey within seconds of biting ) !
