I have to admit, the colors just don't do it for me here. The HDR effect has been pushed a bit too far, IMO. Now the colors just don't look natural.
I like everything else about it, though. You've used the rule of thirds by putting her in the bottom-left quadrant. Your horizon is a bit high, but basically straight. It just feels like the vibrance slider is a bit too far to the right here.
Good feedback. I agree, it’s a bit unnatural, but in this case (and in some others) I’ve been going for a sort of other-worldly, psychedelic look, which I think I achieved.
In that case, mission accomplished. ;-)
Looking forward to more. I've been a bit out of it for the past few months, but I intend on getting much more involved in the photo community here. It needs some overdue attention, I feel.
Any idea how do we fix the photo community? Looks like a huge undertaking to do.
I honestly don't believe we can permanently "fix" it anymore than we can permanently "fix" a baby's diaper. It needs constant maintenance. Problem is, we've let the current diaper go FAAAAAAAAR too long.
I do agree. I've seen communities trying to fix it but their operation is far too small compared to the problem. The way I see it, we need much wider work to do or more communities to operate and slowly tackle the issues.
We need people who are doing real curation, not just following the trenders so they can comment on their post in hopes of getting table scraps.

This is pretty cool. Similar to the one you posted yesterday but this time the waters are calm.
I love the colour combo and scenery. The picture looks very peaceful and to me it represents peace and ambience .

I disagree with the other commenter, I LOVE the colour. As a painter who is in love with colour and as someone who paints subjects that are usually on the whimsy or asurd side, I like to see things in photography push the boundaries. Often if it is too 'real' it can look just like someone's holiday photos, so I really like what you have done here. Well done. And that green in the foreground...heavenly.
Maybe its a little bit unnatural, but the contrast of the colours is amazing. It Great that you found the green spot on the rocky beach.
