RE: PhotoDiary-6 – Colors of India, from Srinagar to Pondicherry

in #photography7 years ago

Nice post.
Can you write two paragraphs briefly explaining your experience as a whole, and also say that these are your original pictures that you took with your camera? Moreover, please write which province of Indian is this? Are all these locations in the same part of India? Further, tell how many days you spent there, and how was your experience with people, food, weather, etc. Please make this more interesting and then I will promote it. thanks.
P.S. I am glad you put more than 10 pictures this time.

Especially important is to mention 'as a text' that this is your trip from srinagar to pondicherry and that, you wrote the detailed description under each picture.

Hello from Chiang Mai

Thanks for your input. I'll gladly write a few additional paragraphs ... tomorrow. It's been a long day, and I should take a break and maybe a drink.

Once I start writing, it will probably be 3-4 paragraphs. Maybe more. But I also like to keep things concise and clear. So maybe I'll try for 4 short paragraphs. How does that sound?

Until then, I'll just keep you in suspense re my India adventure.

Thanks, and have a good day.

Thanks for your reply. The paragraphs should be written today, within 24 hours; after that, it will be really difficult to promote your post, if it gets 'old'. and yes, 3, 4 paragraphs are fine. Just make clear that the description in each photo is written by you and that these are your own photos, taken by your own camera.

Will do. Now. Thanks.

Done. I'll keep in mind your advice to write a general intro to each Photo Diary that I post. Next week, I plan on doing a series of the "Colorful People of India." Not sure if I can think of so many different things to write about them, but I'll do my best and think of something. (I am, after all, a content-CREATOR, so I'll just make it a point to create some decent content.)

Thanks!

Great!

One last suggestion. I see that you post several posts per day. I am just looking at your travel posts, so I don't know what is there in the other posts; but I suggest that if they are not important, then may be you should just make 1 post out of them. To me, it seems as if these posts are similar. If you make a quality posts and publish 3 or 4 times in a week, that would be much better. Thanks for all your work, and see the fruit :)

Thanks for yesterday’s advice. Overnight, I reached 46 votes, which is very nice for a minnow like me. I could not have achieved that without your advice and assistance. Much appreciated.

Brief response to your suggestion re my other posts. With the VOCAB posts, I will probably continue doing the daily mini-posts – for the benefit of any learners / students of language who might find them useful. That in itself is not lucrative for me, but I will also compile each section (that is, each “A” series, each “B” series) into unified posts, which I will post weekly or so. And in the end, I will compile all 400+ posts into one handy and comprehensive reference manual.

As for my CHAOS MONITAUR posts, I’m gonna take your advice and make each post a bit fuller and a bit more meaty, even if that means that I will not be uploading 1/day.

Also, I’ll keep your suggestions in mind for any other posts / series that I initiate.

Again, thanks for any and all efforts on your front. It sure is a pleasure working on Steemit, and with all the Steemers in the community. And it can only get better.

Full Steem Ahead.
