Thank you! And great question! If you do more portraiture, I would say to get a 50mm lens (they start at like $100). I feel like those are a must-have first lens. If you re doing more landscape, wide angle lenses are best, and I've been told to only purchase fixed aperture lenses. (Not ones that say a range like f 4-5.6) When I googles "Wide Angle Fixed Aperture Lens," quite a few affordable options showed up!
