My buddy hitup @ericwilson and I this morning to go for a much needed hike. I haven't got to get out much and take any new photo's on my new camera yet so I was super stoked to head out. I managed to capture a few decent photos. Nikon d3400 f 5.6 1/125s ISO140 18-55mm @18mm

So we got our bags out and hit the woods. we hiked out about 2 miles or so and made a small fire to cook some brats. There is something about cooking on a fire in the woods that just make the food taste so much better! Smokey lol

Got up close and personal with this shot its pretty plain and boring but I really like it for some reason lol. What do you think to plain?

@ericwilson found this badass log to take a few pics. They turned out pretty cool! I don't do a lot of portrait work but I think these came out pretty awesome.

Found some old carvings in the tree's. they made for some cool shots as well. If these trees could talk they would have some awesome stories to tell.

I have always loved seeing all the old carvings in tree's and how clear they are after all these years is amazing.

Looks like a Beaver had a good snack on this tree years ago. That looks super old! lol Seen what we thought was Otter prints in the snow as well, I havent seen one in my area in years that would be amazing to capture in a photo!
