This little guy is great to share the house with. He eats the bugs to high for me to reach and has a wonderful singing voice in the evenings.

I would love a roomie like him. 😀 I have a battalion of pipistrelle bats...they live in the gable ends of my cottage, and above the kitchen. Occasionally somehow they have come into the house, I carefully take them back outside and re-attach them to their roosts.
Yes he does eat spiders and flies and dead ones too and moths - in fact one of these guys ruined a photo shoot of a spectacular moth last night by rushing into the scene and trying to catch it in his mouth! Little rascals they are haha
wow well done for your bat management skills! We do get the odd one but I don't try and move them ! haha
That is such a sweet shot of him, we had a few in the house when we lived in Singapore and they did a great job of taking care of any bugs that came into the house
They are really cool and did you notice how LOUD their singing voice is? I think they hold a world record for volume in relation to size! They drown out the cicadas and that is saying something! haha
