Experiencing new things, especially when it involves nature, is the epitome of joy for me!
When you do what you love, every day is a new adventure, and today was one worth mentioning . . .
Not only did I get to cruise in a gorgeous boat, but I got to do this on the Umtamvuna River. The Umtamvuna area has been left mostly untouched and is a natural haven for all nature and wildlife. The river divides KwaZulu-Natal from The Eastern Cape, uniting two completely different landscapes and cultures.
I spent just over an hour cruising away on the river, taking in the fresh air, and watching nature and wildlife be free to interact. Some of the animals I saw include dassies, jellyfish, the mighty fisheagle, samango monkeys, hornbills, and a massive legevaan.
A stop off at the river mouth, leading us to the ocean was more than welcome! A wide stretch of Wild Coast beach awaited us, tucked away in lush green forestry, with the sun at the perfect temperature, PERFECTION!
