Rainy day in Jiufen, Taiwan.

On a day best spent bundled up and sipping tea, the quaint streets were breathing with a sense of urgency and the only sound to escape the drowning downpour was the persistent, lively chatter of a city that didn't give a damn about anything except one another. It is powerful to consider that the rain and clouds could stifle the sun, but not the colorful spirit of Jiufen.

The Universe is a neutral, impartial entity. It does not understand the human notions of good and bad, because good and bad only exist inside your own head. We define events as being good or bad, and have the power to change that at any given moment. The city of Jiufen understands that life is not partial, it just is.
