I live in Cairns in tropical Far North Queensland. Our city does not have golden beaches, just an Esplanade that looks out onto a vast sea of mud.
Our city leaders wanted something more attractive for tourists and locals alike, so they had constructed a big pool known as the Cairns lagoon. Below is a picture of the lagoon and as you can see it is very popular, particularly in summer.
I was born and brought up at a place named KAKINADA, East Godavari district from southern state Andhra Pradesh INDIA - coastal region of Bay of Bengal - Britishers used to call it co-Canada.well planed beautiful city. though it is a seashore, if you go to seashore you will find it as a biggest lake. no waves. it is a muddy shore.
on seeing your post i recollected my great beach without waves.
Nice place,sir..
So good for summer.
