Jade collection in Taipei - Taiwan

Hi, Dear Steemian Friends.

Today I want to share something for the pleasure of the eyes. A beautiful collection of jade statues that was exposed at the top of the tower 101 in Taipei (Taiwan) Republic of China not to be mistaken with People's Republic of China (China). Chinese people love Jade stone because of the value added culturally to jades throughout Chinese history, the word has also come to refer to precious or ornamental stones. In some part of China, mainland Jade has been mined since 6000 BC and its price can be as expensive as gold. Mostly Chinese people like the green Jade for making jewelry. There are different colors of Jade not only green. Here are a few pictures from an astonishing collection. Taiwan is renowned for storing many of the most valuable items of the Chinese history, especially during the Mao Zedong years when the communist army was trying to erase many of the ancient Chinese artifacts that have made the Chinese history.
