Sunflowers and Squash Blossoms

in #photography8 years ago (edited)

Surrounding our main garden in Eugene Oregon is a 9 foot tall deer fence. One year I grew sunflowers, snow peas, and squash. I trained the vines up the fence and used netting on the outside of the fence to keep the deer from nibbling at the plants. Enjoy the photos, I sure enjoyed the garden.

Lovely! Were you able to harvest the sunflower seeds, either to plant or to eat?

I let the wild birds eat them, my gift to my wild friends. I did save enough seeds for next years garden. Thank you, I love my gardens.
