Forest Haven

Man I remember exploring Forest Haven like it was yesterday...

A fellow photographer from Instagram had touched down in D.C and hit me up because I was in the area. He wanted to explore some of the area's abandoned places so I gathered a few of my friends and we meet up to hit the Asylum.

I don't have pictures of us walking through 20 minutes in the woods to hide from security in order to get inside, so all the images I have are from once we got in.

Easily one of the most creepy places I've been to and the pictures don't really do it justice. You have to experience the atmosphere and know the history of the Asylum and you'll begin to understand. There have been a few stories from other photographers experiencing some paranormal activity when they were inside shooting.
