RE: Rain Delay - 17 June 2018 (Original Photos/Videos)

There was this kind of rain in Gothenburg the last week, I was really scared because it's the first time I saw it. Hearing thunders and seeing flashes of lightning and bolts in the sky make me feel nervous hahaha. Regards :D

The seven years I lived in southern California thunderstorms were very rare.
In southern California, I would sleep through earthquakes.

When I moved here and experienced my first thunderstorm in seven years, it was more nerve racking than any earthquake. But after a while you get used to thunderstorms.

Now, I know when to take a thunderstorm seriously and when to just take it in stride.

It does take a while to get used to thunderstorms.

Have a great week!

Yeahhh!! in Trujillo, Peru for example, I get used to shakes and earthquakes too, although I prefer storms instead of earthquakes. I have a phobia of shakes. I think there is no a peaceful place in the world hahaha. Have a great week too :D

I have lived in various places from coast to coast across my country. I have learned that every place has its threats, earthquakes, tornadoes, severe cold, extreme heat, volcanoes, hurricanes, landslides, fires, etc.

The trick is to always be content and aware. Worrying about the forces of nature can keep you from enjoying the beauty of nature around you. But it is always wise to be aware and prepared.

In California, the authorities wanted people to be prepared with emergency food, water, and first-aid kit. Even to the point of having some extra supplies in your car because you never know when a natural emergency will occur.

Have a great day!

OMG!!! hahaha, you are in another level hahaha. I just have lived in Trujillo, Peru and Gothenburg but I have traveled to several places here in Peru, so I just traveled in good seasons; however, I don't know about their weather. You are right, people must be ready in any case, natural disasters can occur anywhere and anytime.
